CIVIX programming is offered free to teachers and schools. As a registered charity, we rely on the generosity of donors to continue and grow our work.
The need to foster democratic participation is growing more urgent. In Canada, and around the world, we are experiencing low trust in institutions, a rise in false and misleading information, and toxic discourse.
CIVIX believes that civic education is the irreplaceable foundation of a robust and successful democracy, and the best way to foster the habits of citizenship is to begin at an early age, in schools. There is much work to be done, and we invite you to join us.
CIVIX will be hosting a series of anniversary events in Toronto and Ottawa for stakeholders this fall, and sponsorship opportunities are available. For more details, please email anniversary@civix.ca.
