NOVA SCOTIA

In Nova Scotia, more than 180 schools from 32 municipalities have registered their students to participate in Student Vote coinciding with the municipal elections. Teachers have been diligently preparing and adapting learning resources to teach their students the importance of municipal government and civic engagement. Many teachers have arranged for their local representatives to come into schools and speak directly with students to answer questions.

The Student Vote program for the Nova Scotia municipal elections is supported by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the Government of Canada.

NEW BRUNSWICK
